If you look closely in the photo above, you may see people on the steps of the pavilion across the pond.
A group from my church visited Airle Gardens on Sunday afternoon. The air was hot and humid, but the trees didn’t seem to mind a bit. I was very grateful for their shade and managed to get a few new photos of live oaks and Spanish moss. Click on the first gallery photo, then use the arrows, to get a better view of each one.
The soft breeze brought welcome relief and tickled the Spanish moss.

Thanks, Thomas! I think I see the little bear to the right of the rabbit. Once I start looking closely, there are all kinds of faces and creatures!

A grand old oak tree! A great grandmother with bent back, gathering all of her great grand kids in her arms 🙂

Lovely photos of these beautiful old trees, JoAnna. We lost so many oaks to Hurricane Ian, but many still remain. The character of those old oaks may be from a lifetime of surviving storms! 🙂

I’m glad you like the photos, Cheryl. That makes beautiful sense that character comes from surviving storms.

Thanks, Brad. I’m glad you like the Spanish moss.. It doesn’t seem to hurt the trees. They probably keep it under control.
