Love the beach photos…we just moved to coastal South Florida from coastal plains of NC…very familiar with intracoastal water ways of Southeastern NC…homesick for them, too! Beauty is everywhere, when we look thru the eyes of gratitude though. I have missed visiting sites like yours.

It’s cold here right now – lows tonight in the 20s, which is rare, but happens. I bet you are comfy there in South Florida. Beauty is everywhere when we look through the eyes of gratitude. I love that! Thanks for dropping by!

Since the lockdown started in March 2020, I have not been for my weekend walks on Venice Beach.

I hope you get to go again soon!

I like your choice of subjects, especially the bird in flight.

The beach! I miss the beaches of California, but so glad I have the beaches of Michigan. We don’t have access to them all year round, but when we do, it’s a real treat living 10 minutes from them.

I know what you mean about the ten minutes. That’s what we have if traffic is light. Parking can be a challenge in the summer, but we have another beach 20 minutes away with a state park. Thanks for reminding me not to take this for granted.

You bet. The beach is a real treasure if you live near one.

Stunning photos, JoAnna! I enjoy the beach. I especially like your photo of the sand dune. ❤ Take care!

Thanks, Cheryl. I’m glad you like the sand dune. I should dig up the one with the line of pelicans flying above the dunes.

A good set. The dunes were an original inclusion

Thanks, Derrick. Glad you liked it. The dunes give a broader perspective of the area.

Thanks for sharing JoAnna. I miss the beach and easy access when I lived on the east coast.

You’re very welcome, Brad. Maybe you will visit the coast again. I know you’re enjoying those beautiful places there around you.

Yes, I’ll visit sometime and there is beauty here too.
