It’s a pleasure to share and live these memories. I was thinking about you the other day, and thought, I must go visit him, and you got here first! So glad you stopped by! Thank you for the hopes and wisdom! π
I have seen mushrooms grow at so many different places that this once took me back to childhood, JoAnna. A sweet find for sure. Thanks for sharing and see you around on 22nd.

Lovely! I hope the mushroom doesnt mind sharing its house with the birds or squirrels!

I’m sure it didn’t mind for a while. Last time I looked, it was gone, so I guess they have short life cycles, or maybe it was tasty.

Thanks, Cheryl. Since I’ve been part of Thursday Tree Love, I’ve been surprised at how many hollow-ish trees are still alive and green at the top.

What a find. The mushroom – I wouldn’t even try to guess what it is. The tree being alive. Nice unusual set of photos.
