In December, legislators in the province of Tierra del Fuego voted to permanently protect the land and sea of the Mitre Peninsula. FDA No Longer Requires Animal Testing on All Drugs
The US Federal Drug Administration no longer requires drugs to be tested on animals. While the law doesn’t ban the testing of new drugs on animals, it lifts the requirement that pharmaceutical companies use animals to test new drugs before human trials.
