Wildlife Crossings Make a Difference in Montana
A network of 42 wildlife crossings in Montana have decreased animal collisions by 71%. Cameras at 29 structures have documented over 22,000 animals using the crossings. Watch and listen to how the Native “sovereign nation” influenced the development of this project on what used to be considered one of the most dangerous roads in the US. One question they asked: “How do we make the road respectful?” For details, see this article from Mongabay.com. I found the following video positive and inspiring.

You will not be surprised that I choose the wildlife crossings, especially as driven by an indigenous nation.

We’re thinking alike on this one. The wildlife crossings story was my favorite too, especially as driven by an indigenous nation. So much wisdom there.

Wildlife crossings touch my heart. Analyzing and manipulating dreams and nightmares appeals to my imagination. The good news here is so diverse, JoAnna! ❤ My good news is that after being down for nearly a week, our internet and TV, and house phones are back in service! You certainly do "miss the water when the well runs dry!" 🙂

Wow! Internet, TV and house phones down for a week! I can only imagine the change. I’d have gotten a lot of reading or cleaning done. Glad it’s back! Thanks for appreciating the good news with me, Cheryl. Imagination can be a great asset when used well, like when I remember to rewrite my anxiety laden daydreams to make them reflect my hopes instead of my fears.
