Restoring Coral
Hoi Ha Wan, near Hong Kong, is now a protected coastal reserve. Past coral mining left nothing for coral to grow on and made restoration unlikely until a team working with Hong Kong university’s architecture department developed an artificial reef using a 3D printing facility. I love all these stories. Thank-you to all the people courageous enough to pursue peace. And I hope they save the trees in California; those old groves are so precious. Last I heard they wrapped the oldest in foil(?) to protect it.
