A study presented at the annual meeting of the Radiological Society of North America presented a significant reduction in pain for patients with moderate to severe arthritis. The procedure involves “a low-grade current known as radiofrequency that ‘stuns’ (the specific nerve site) slowing the transmission of pain to the brain.” This article from the Good News Network gives a good overview.

  1. I love that grocery store idea!

  2. The Texas store has the right prinicple in mind. Lets’ teach kids nothing is free, we have to earn or work for what we get in return. I feel to many kids grow up expecting things to be handed to them and then they grow up with major problems becasue the world doesn’t work that way. OF course love is free but some people think strings are attached to it.

    • I agree that kids need to earn things, and I like how money is not the currency at this high school. Anyone can do a good deed. Thanks for your comment!

  3. These are all wonderful stories. The one about treatment for arthritis is of personal interest to me because my mom, aunt and dad are all sufferers.

    • Great! I was hoping it might helps someone. We need to think outside the box in searching for new pain management strategies. This research is moving in exciting!

  4. The arthritis news and the College Hunks are my favourites today

  5. All good news! The free moves for domestic violence victims is especially hopeful. I’m so sad about the abuse people are living with especially during these Covid times.

    • Realizing how much domestic violence still exists is sad and scary. I’m very thankful for the young folks and their company helping out. Thanks for appreciating the good new!

  6. Great stories JoAnna. I especially like the student grocery store!
