One of my favorite Gandhi quotes from Doggedly Yours:

Doggedly Yours... Howling, Humor, and History.

A nation braces for another night of unrest.

Demonstrations Resume as Mayors Call for ‘Peace, Not Patience’ (New York Times 20/05/31)

Some will draft letters to the government, others will create signs for protest demonstrations, I may do so tomorrow though today on this day of pain …

….I elect to write a post to this blog.

“When I despair, I remember that all through history the way of truth and love have always won. There have been tyrants and murderers, and for a time, they can seem invincible, but in the end, they always fall. Think of it–always.”

  1. Thank you for your inspiring and comforting post, JoAnna.

  2. Great share and quote JoAnna… Another favourite quote too is This from Desmond Tutu” Do your little bit of good where you are; it’s those little bits of good put together that overwhelm the world.”
We will keep doing those little bits of good JoAnna… ❤ Much love my friend.. ❤

  3. It is so much. And yet, the time does not matter. When injustice appears, we must fight no matter how tired we are. I remind myself there are many ways to fight.

    • Yes, there are many ways to fight. We need balance of enough self-care to continue to fight for goodness and peace. It’s going to take a while.

  4. Yes, yes, yes and a shouting, smiling, gleaming YES! ❤
