I’m not sure what kind of tree this is, though it might be a cedar. My granddaughter and I found it at a park near a playground.
It turned out to be a great place to climb, play, and enjoy the shade.

My granddaughter took this picture of me in the tree.

Love this tree, especially the way it has branched!
August 22, 2019 at 12:12 pm
I’m glad you love it. I have a mimosa that is branching in a similar way after we had to cut it down to install a new roof. Hoping to share it in a future tree love.

Sounds great!

We had a huge cedar in our front yard when we lived in Florida. I just love grand old trees! That’s a great photo of you — your granddaughter has a good eye.

Thanks, Maggie. She does have a good eye and knows all about i phones, though she doesn’t have one of her own yet.

Me, too. I had to get inside. 🙂

A very nice photo of you in the tree. And speaking of trees, without them, mankind would not have fared so well. We owe so much to trees and dare I say that our lives depend on then for survival.

Thank you, Yvonne. I’m glad you like the photo and appreciate your insight. I agree that we depend on trees for oxygen and they use our CO2. It’s a perfect design that we humans need to respect and protect. The shade they provide is nice, too.

Whatever its name, its beautiful! The multiple branches give it a unique character… But knowing its name would make it all the more enjoyable!
September 9, 2019 at 5:29 pm
Yes. It would be nice to know the name. I looked some. Next time I’ll take a closer photo to help me research.

WOw ! Tree climbing granny. I must say that is rather brave of you. My grandchildren sometimes dare me to climb trees with them but I prefer to let them do it while I watch
September 12, 2019 at 10:42 am
I don’t climb as high or fast as I used to. That’s for sure. I was actually pretty close to the ground in this photo. 🙂
September 16, 2019 at 7:16 am
Oh well the photo looked like you’d climbed high enough!
