Alex Trebek is making progress in fighting pancreatic cancer, and it “has to be more than chemo.” He credit’s the tremendous love and support of family, friends, and fans for aiding in his progress. Some of his tumors have shrunk by more than 50%. Mr. Trebek, long time host of Jeopardy, has vowed to beat the statistics. This story might not be recent, but it’s never too late to make a difference. The government was going to tear down his town, but the “Rainbow Grandpa” started painting the buildings. Now, it’s a tourist attraction.

Thank you so much, Maggie! I love it too! Signing is something I’ve always wanted to learn, so to me, it’s a gift they’ve given to each other. I bet they were all excited about learning a new language.

My science teacher in high school taught us sign language so we could communicate in class without talking. She signed for her church so it was a skill she knew well. I loved that story, too!

Yes. Animals live in horrific conditions, but I’m thankful that some people are waking up and following through on compassionate action. This is reported to be a landmark decision.
