Three year old Sammy Silver was born with osteogenesis imperfecta, or brittle bones. He’s had 40 bone fractures and six surgeries. Doctors called him a “glass baby.” His mom teaches him affirmations, and Sammy says them with conviction:

“I’m tough. I’m brave. I’m strong. I’m Sammy Silver.”

The Man Who Adopts Senior Dogs

  2. I like the story about sending food home. People don’t understand how much hunger there is in this country.

    • True! That is the best reason to like this story – that it will help that hunger. Also, so much food is wasted. We have the resources to make sure people have the food they need.

  3. Lovey idea to save unused food for needy students for the week-end All stories are marvelous. But of course I really like that story of the senior dogs and the pig is inspiring. Those animals hit the jack pot when they were saved at the shelters by the man with a big heart.
