  1. Joannna, thank you so much for this post. So glad to have read it.

  2. Thank you for sharing! Love good news stories 🙂

  3. The swimming pool story is really nice. What an amazing little kid!

  4. I used to work in an animal testing facility and I always felt bad for them, but I needed the job.

    • Thanks for sharing that side of things. It must have been hard. I sometimes wonder about people who do that work and if they have to suppress their feelings. My husband worked for a big pharmaceutical company as an industrial fire fighter. He didn’t like what he saw on a couple of occasions. Glad you don’t have to do that anymore.

      • The pay was good and if I didn’t do it someone else would have. I had little to no involvement with the animals which were mostly mice

        • I’m glad you had little or no involvement and that you cared. I’m reminded that I dissected animals in high school and college. I was going to major in biology. I liked making good grades. Problem was, I didn’t make such good grades in trigonometry and college chemistry so changed my major to psych. Otherwise, I would probably have been faced with more animal dilemmas.

  5. Yes, so good to hear as mainstream news always full of increasingly bizarre politics! Let’s share the news of goodness and those making a difference. Thanks!

  6. Your blog made my day. Crying like a baby here.

  7. Incredible stories and I don’t think I have a favorite. Inspiring and so uplifting that makes one feel grateful to be alive and to have what one has in life.

    • Yes! Gratitude is good for us. It’s funny how some weeks I don’t know if I’ll find any stories I like and then in the looking (usually on Monday) I always find them. Thanks for reading!

  8. miracles!
    better than the other
