What if this darkness is not the darkness of the tomb, but the darkness of the womb?” _ Valarie Kaur
I discovered this question in the powerful Ted Talk shared in one of Brad’s Awesome Stories.
I first watched this Ted Talk a few months ago. After watching it again last night, I wondered if I have abandoned my post. (I’ve
always sometimes felt guilty when I’m not trying to save the world.) Yet, I’m posting this video and that’s gotta count for something. I’ve just withdrawn a bit to tend to my own needs and family, though tomorrow I am helping a friend. Today I am loving myself – tending the womb. When the time comes, my love will be ready for others and my opponents.

4. Add our lovely badge to your post for extra exposure!

You found it and you shared it – that can be enough for one day.

You are welcome. She sure is a powerful speaker with a message we need. I was just as moved the second time.

Tomb is where my mind automatically goes. I try to curb that. Forever a work in progress.

Me, too – a work in progress. Always.
