After many decades of separation, North and South Korean families were chosen by a lottery to meet at a resort. It is not enough, but it’s still good news for these families. We can hope this is just the beginning of growing peace and more reunions.

In other news, 98 year old Luther Younger has been walking 6 miles to visit his wife who is in the hospital. His family has raised money to help ease his journey.

Finally, here’s a story about a Louisville dentist who developed a holistic program for those on the autism spectrum. Click the link below for a video about this compassionate, patient, and understanding dentist.

I couldn’t even get to the one with the Dentist yet 😭. That man who goes to see his wife, he just… strengthens me. 💓🌟 Thank you, JoAnna for such a meaningful share of good news: Love 💗

My pleasure, Ka. That story moved me, too. Strengthens is a good way to put it. I can imagine my father doing that if he had to.

Glad you liked these. Late last night I was having trouble finding and picking stories. I think it was because I was tired. This morning it was obvious. 🙂

I love the 98- year old’s last name: Younger – you think that got him such a long life?
August 21, 2018 at 8:18 pm
I just realized that, but you picked up on it right away. I’m sure his name helped – probably added to his other qualities. Thanks for appreciating this, Bee!

Some really good things are happening in the world. Gives me a good feeling to read about the man who loves his wife so much that he walks a dangerous road to see her. I like all these stories but I suppose that one grabs my heart the most. Thank you for posting these three stories.

It sure grabbed mine. You are welcome! Thanks for reading, dear Yvonne.

I love a positive story, especially now that I have a child. I want him to see the good in our world and I want to teach him to be kind to others so I’m drawn to these stories all the more. Thank you for sharing 🙂

I watched some of the reunions on our TV the other evening JoAnna.. and yes tears of joy, but tears of sadness that the world is still separating families like this.. We need more re-unions in the world.. ❤ ❤
