  1. Wonderful story of the British young lady, I first read about her on Facebook. It is beautiful to know how one person can affect someone’s life in a positive and meaningful way. We need more people like her,

  2. The news from New Zealand is brilliant too. It would have helped me a lot to leave my ex-partner earlier if that would have been the case. However, I am rather surprised that NZ has such a domestic violence problem. That is so sad. Thanks for this feature. It cheers me up every week!

  3. There’s good news all around everyday, it’s a shame the media doesn’t spend one or two stories a day on national news doing them. Lester Holt does a few a week. After a while, people who are already angry may feel the whole world is angry.

    • Exactly! The lopsided 90-95% focus on bad news makes it seem like bad stuff is more prominent than good. I don’t believe that percentage is accurate. Yay for Mr. Holt!

  4. I really enjoyed the examples of happy news today, JoAnna. The one I really liked was the unexpected help to clean off the yard which could have landed a ticket instead!
Helpful young woman’s positive notes is a close second. . . Thanks for sharing! 🌹

  5. Three wonderful stories! Thanks for sharing! It’s always so nice to have positive stories in front of us, so we can remember that the world, and humans, still have so much ch beauty and love in them.
