“Treat yourself like someone you love.” Adam Roa

This quote comes about three minutes into Adam’s poem in the video below.

(Stuff I had to learn before I would be ready for Mr. Right. I still need reminding.)

  1. Love it! Thank you for sharing 🙂
I feel the same way about my partner., I needed to find some love for myself… and I found some, and then – I need to keep finding more (and this translates – like Adam’s poem: into loving others). Being enough! 🙂

    • There is a healthy balance. Sometimes I lean one way or the other as needed, but that’s okay. I know the balance is there. And yes, thanks for pointing to how loving ourselves, knowing we are enough, makes it easier to love others. 🙂

  3. I’m sorry for the duplicate comment. At first I thought the desire to respond to people on my blog twice was sort of funny. Then I made this duplicate here by mistake. Wishing you a beautiful day.

  4. Good advice. We have to love ourselves as well.

  5. Very good advice, and easy to forget.

  6. Love this! Good advice ❤️

  7. Such an amazing clip! Its just a short simple statement….but so many of us struggle to accept it… We Are Enough!
