Two Stories to Bring You a Smile

I liked both of these positive stories, so I decided to share them both for Good News Tuesday:

The first story is about students asked to come up with a random act of kindness for other students. They decided to put encouraging notes on everybody’s locker. This can be done on a small scale, too. I’m going to keep some sticky notes in my car. Bathroom mirrors might be a fun target. 🙂

The second story is about a song. As reported by Good News Network:

Koolulam is an organization that is dedicated to bringing Israelis together from across all ages, races, religions, and demographics for mass singing events. ….This most recent orchestration in Haifa asked 3,000 Muslims and Jews (none of whom had met before) to come together and learn the song “One Day” by Matisyahu in under an hour.

All my life I´ve been waiting for
I´ve been praying for
For the people to say
That we don´t wanna fight no more
They´ll be no more wars
And our children will play
One day (one day), One day (one day)
One day (one day), One day (one day)
One day (one day), One day (one day)
