I shall go boldly, even when I’m taking baby steps. Inspired by these words by Mary Melange.
What does it mean to boldly go
when there is no star ship in sight?
How do I get to where no one has gone before
when I don’t know if I should go left or right?
When do I make choices to go past the stars
and live without fear of a wrong turn?
Can I live long and prosper this year
and from life find lessons to learn?
Does temporal time stand still
while I decide what to do next?
Or proceed at high warp speed
faster than a fourteen year old can text?
Tell me: How I can transport into the new year
and make it the best ever?
When do I tell myself, “Make it so”
rather than slithering into never?
I’m a woman, not a doctor,
but does that really matter?
It’s time to boldly go and go and go
and not listen to self-defeating…

Very inspiring poem!! This is my goal, to live more boldly. I hold back sometimes, worried because what I’m attempting to do hasn’t been done by anyone else, so I doubt that it’s the right thing. But I’m doing my best to shrug off that fear and just go for it!!
