One-Liner Wednesday: If You Think It’s Impossible…

Saint Francis impossible quote

Has there ever been a time when you thought you couldn’t do something, but you started anyway? You took one step at a time, and discovered that you could do what you thought was impossible.

Today is the “feast day” of Saint Francis, my favorite Saint and the link between my  love for the earth and my love for Jesus. Here’s a link for more quotes from Saint Francis:

  1. There have been many times, JoAnna, that I didn’t believe I could do something or get through a stressful time, but I did anyway. St. Francis is correct…we all have the ability to do the impossible if we just start.

    • Thanks for sharing that, Mary. One step at a time really does work. Even during those times when I had no idea where I was going or how I would get through something, just getting out of bed or taking a shower would help move me forward.

  2. This has happened often. These are times when it’s clear that God is a presence in my life.

  3. Good advice. We have to start somewhere.

  4. Wonderful, May we remember we achieve by taking one step at a time.. Learning to place our first step is the most important one.. The rest will follow.. ❤ Good to know ..

  5. it is so easy to let fear hold on to you, but we have to move on and go for the impossible!
