Taking Time with Family

My good news for today is personal: I’m still visiting my son, his girlfriend, and my granddaughter in the Appalachian Mountains. It’s good to be able to spend time with them.

The leaves are starting to change color, but green is always present here. The fresh air and cool nights make me feel alive in a way that goes deeper than the ocean’s tingle. Mountains have called to me over the years and miles. And now, my imagination flirts with ideas ofΒ  living here, at least part of the time. Not so sure about winter.

Here are a few of the pictures I’ve taken so far.
