  2. One of the most moving stories I have ever read. I usually have to put drops in my eyes each morning because I have Dry Eye. This morning I did not need the drops, the tears came forth all by themselves in abundance with the help of Penguin and her family.

  3. Beautiful story. I love uncommon species to species relationships. The pictures are so great as well as the story. I agree. This magpie had a mission! A little black and white angel.

    • Yes, the pictures are a great part of this story – so full of emotion! I’ve always known mammals have a great capacity for love. Now, I have a new appreciation for how social and compassionate birds can be.
