Two “handicapped”men in their 50s help heal the earth with inspiring determination. I hope you enjoy this heartwarming video about friendship and perseverance.
It took me a minute to get used to reading the subtitles, but I’m so glad I watched this!

An amazing story. It just goes to prove, where there’s a will there’s a way. Through all the hardships they have endured and have made their world more beautiful. There is a lesson to be learned here.
I too am glad I watched this video. Thank you for sharing.

Considering what these two men have accomplished, many should reconsider lamenting over their own circumstances, which likely are much less regretful than what these men experience.

I agree. That’s one of the gifts their story offers. It helps us realize how possible it is to overcome big challenges and do good work. Thanks for reading and commenting!

I’d happened upon your blog … this is a wonderful story, and reminded me of the story decades ago of the Man Who Planted for Hope, to help reforest the Perenes, I think in Italy or southern France. Incidentally, I also read your fig story – just happened to purchase two small fig trees yesterday!

Welcome, Bruce! I’m glad you liked the story. I fell in love with it as I watched it. I looked up your story and found one called The Man Who Planted Trees by Jean Giono, Here’s a video I’m listening to now. https://youtu.be/PYlsIZXCQa4. One of my fig trees seems to have some new growth on the bottom. We will see. Thanks for following. I’ll be visiting your blog shortly!
